“His Love” Oil on canvas by Sara Sherwood

Today I was searching for something online and I came across an icon of Saint Demetrios, then I saw (in my mind) clear tears in his eyes. I was curious and searched further:

I had never heard of icons weeping before and then read about Myrrh Streaming tears of Saint Demetrios.
This very poor painting is my attempt to connect with Christ called “His Love”
